VP is region-locked. Buy it right the first time.

Valorant Points (VP) are Valorant's premium currency, spent on weapon skins, agents, and the battle pass. They are purchased with real money inside the Riot client or via official gift cards.

The key detail: VP and your account region are linked. Points bought in one region generally cannot move to another, so always buy for the region your account actually plays in.

Start with a source you can verify.

Buy VP in four steps

1

Check your region

Open the in-game store and note the currency shown — that is your account's purchase region.

2

Choose an amount

Pick a VP bundle. Larger bundles usually give bonus VP, improving the per-point value.

3

Pay in the client

Complete the purchase inside the Valorant client or redeem a matching-region gift card.

4

Confirm the balance

Check your VP total in the client before buying skins or the battle pass.

Typical US price tiers

Riot sells VP in fixed bundles with bonus points at higher tiers. As a rough reference, 475 VP has historically cost around $4.99, scaling to 11,000 VP near $99.99. Prices vary by country and change over time.

475 VP ≈ $4.99 1,000 VP ≈ $9.99 2,050 VP ≈ $19.99 3,650 VP ≈ $34.99 5,350 VP ≈ $49.99

Reference points only. Regional pricing and taxes change the final total.

Three checks before you spend

Skins don't aim for you

Skins are cosmetic only. If your budget is tight, the battle pass usually returns more content per VP than single skins.

Watch the Night Market

The rotating Night Market offers personalized discounts — waiting for it can save significant VP on skins you want.

Bundle math matters

Higher tiers include bonus VP. If you plan multiple purchases, one larger bundle often beats several small ones.

Valorant FAQ

Can I transfer VP to another region?

Generally no. VP is tied to your account's region. Contact Riot support if you believe your region is set incorrectly.

Are third-party VP sellers safe?

No. Unofficial VP sellers risk revoked points and account penalties. Use the in-client store or authorized gift cards.

Do Valorant Points expire?

No. VP stays in your account until you spend it.

What's the difference between VP and Radianite?

VP is bought with real money for skins and passes. Radianite upgrades skin variants and comes from the battle pass or separate purchase.

Is this an official Riot Games page?

No. This is an independent informational guide. It does not sell VP or collect account credentials.
