Content standards
- Original. Every article carries its own testing, data or analysis. We do not copy other people's work, and we do not paraphrase-spin it either.
- Useful. A reader should be able to act on it: tools work on open, tutorials reproduce step by step, rankings explain how they were computed.
- No rewriting theft. We cite the source of ideas we borrow; when we disagree, we say why — never passing it off as our own.
AI usage disclosure
Here is exactly how this site uses AI:
- Where AI is used: gathering and organizing background information during research; assisting first drafts; assisting translation and polish for cross-language versions.
- Where AI is not used: test data and ranking scores are never fabricated by AI; conclusions are never delegated to AI; nothing is published without human review.
- Human review: every piece of content is verified by Stephen Liu before publication — facts checked, examples re-run, sources confirmed — and only then goes live. Unverified AI output is never published.
Fact-checking process
- Tools and tutorials: examples are run in the current public environment, with a reproducible result recorded; test environment and limitations are stated.
- Rankings: scoring dimensions, data sources, collection dates and update cycle are published with each ranking, so anyone can recompute the same ranking from the same public data.
- Citations: third-party data cited is linked to its original source; claims whose original source cannot be found do not go into the article.
- Commercial separation: advertising and commercial partnerships take no part in editorial review and never change tutorial conclusions or ranking results.
