Redirect Rule Generator
Paste old and new paths, pick the server, get syntax you can paste. 301 or 302.

Worked example
Redirect rules are matched in order, and the first match wins. A broad rule placed before a specific one makes the specific one unreachable — the usual reason a redirect "does not work" on a site where it clearly exists.
Redirects are how a site move keeps its search equity. Every old URL that 404s instead of redirecting loses whatever it had accumulated, and a bulk migration without a redirect map loses all of it at once.
Rule order
Put the specific rules first and the catch-all last. In Apache, RedirectMatch with a regex will swallow everything after it; in Nginx, the first matching location wins. Testing one URL from each end of the map is the quickest way to catch an ordering mistake.
