Beginner Tips
- Master Holy Light Block first — it's the most important defensive mechanic in the demo. Practice in a safe area before pushing the main story.
- Use the whip's grapple & swing to find routes — the whip isn't just a weapon, it's an exploration tool. Grappling and swinging reach platforms normal jumps can't.
- Equip up to 3 relics at once — relics grant passive bonuses; you can equip up to 3. Long-press to instantly equip a newly picked-up weapon.
- Collect Hero's Heart & Sage's Heart fragments — several collectible fragments exist in the demo; plan your route to grab them within the 20-minute limit.
- Use the Reverse Refining Talisman — never fear wasting upgrade resources. The talisman resets upgraded weapons and refunds all materials.
Common Beginner Mistakes
| Mistake | Consequence | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Ignoring Holy Light Block | Taking too much damage in combat | Prioritize learning the block |
| Only attacking with the whip | Missing hidden areas and shortcuts | Use the whip to explore more |
| Afraid to switch weapons | Missing better-fitting playstyles | Reset upgrades with the talisman |
| Skipping fragments | Missing passive bonuses | Plan collection routes within the time limit |
| Ignoring Arcana challenges | Missing reward spells | Complete the "Path of Relief" challenge |
